Information Sheet Travel: For most delegates, the easiest route to Sofia, Bulgaria, will be by air. Do book early as May is a busy month for airlines flying to Sofia. From Sofia Airport, the taxi fare to the Boyana Presidential Residence is about 15 Leva (about EUR 10), the Bulgarian currency. It would be best to have local currency on hand. The taxi company recommended is Okay Taxi. Workshop and Lodging site: The Boyana Presidential Residence, the residence for official guests of the President, will not only be the venue of the workshop but will also house the delegates for the workshop. Its sports facilities – a workout center, swimming pool and jacuzzi are made available to its guests. The hotel booking form is attached to your invitation. The Boyana Presidential Residence is located just within the southwestern city boundary. The address is: 16 Vitoshko lale bd. For spouses accompanying delegates to CITMO, a shuttle bus service to and from the city center will be available from Boyana on a daily basis. Social Activities and Tours for Delegates and Spouses: 11 May p.m.: Guided Tour of National History Museum, Boyana 12 May: Outing to Plovdiv, whole day. Dress Code: Daytime events with exception of first day of Workshop: presentation and working group sessions, informal dress. No coat and tie. Casual clothing. Shirt with collar preferred. Opening Day, dinners and evening events: Semi formal attire. Coat and tie for men. Dress or other appropriate business attire for women. Sport coats or business suits are both acceptable.
